What age should my child start martial arts?

Age 3 is our earliest start, in the Ninjas class built around games, movement, and coordination. Ages 5 to 6 join Eagles and ages 7 to 12 join Warriors, so any age is a good age to begin.

Is the free trial really free?

Yes. Your child takes one full class with no commitment and no obligation afterward. It exists so The Oaks parents can watch the coaching in person before deciding anything.

Will classes fit our after school schedule?

That is how the timetable is designed. Monday through Thursday, Ninjas begins at 3:30 PM, Eagles at 4:15 PM, Warriors Basic at 5:15 PM, and Warriors Advanced at 6:00 PM. The 10 minute drive from The Oaks makes it workable even on packed afternoons.

My child is gentle. Will martial arts suit them?

Often best of all. Classes are small and structured, beginners learn control and fundamentals before anything else, and sparring only enters the picture at the advanced level. Gentle kids usually grow in confidence without losing their kindness.
